He entered shops and spoke to people, provoking a reaction from the Jewish community. Several witnesses reported the incident, leading to a Greater Manchester Police PCSO and a Community Security Trust officer approaching him and persuading him to cover the t-shirt with a coat. In a police interview, he admitted his intention to provoke but denied causing distress, claiming it was freedom of speech.
Pleaded guilty to three racially/religiously aggravated public order offences. Sentence uplifted from eight weeks for racial aggravation.

Sacha was found collapsed on the kitchen floor of Robertson's flat in Withins Drive, Bolton, on January 3, 2023, weighing just 26 pounds with every bone visible, discharge in eyes and ears, coughing, and struggling to breathe. She was seized by RSPCA and taken to Greater Manchester Animal Hospital, where her condition worsened with vomiting blood and internal bleeding signs, leading to euthanasia on welfare grounds. The vet estimated suffering for many weeks or longer.

On March 6, 2023, in the early hours, police in the Moore Lane area of Prestwich noticed Xenna Valentina driving a grey BMW 116I M Sport alone on Bury New Road towards Cheetham Hill. The vehicle indicated left turns multiple times but did not turn until eventually doing so. Officers pulled her over assuming she was lost. She confirmed she was lost and admitted to having a couple of drinks. A roadside breathalyser test was positive, and in custody, she measured 50mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath (legal limit 35mg). While in custody at 6.20am, she made herself vomit multiple times, claiming she had been spiked by men buying her drinks at a bar, and mentioned she would provide a blood specimen but did not. She was approximately 30 miles from her home in West Yorkshire when stopped at 4.30am after consuming two-and-a-half glasses of prosecco.
Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Offered a place on the drink-driving awareness course which, if completed, will reduce the ban to return to driving by January 2024. No previous convictions. Represented herself after falling out with previous solicitor. Claimed she was spiked and mentioned medication for new teeth, but admitted she shouldn't have driven.

Gregory Linvao James Williams, 39, of Dunoon Drive, Astley Bridge, subjected a woman, who was his 'friend with benefits' and 16 years his junior, to verbal and physical abuse on July 17, 2021, in Bolton. He accused her of sleeping with his cousin, strangled her neck for around a minute causing her to struggle to breathe and cry, bit her right ear causing it to bleed, bit her lip, backhanded her, and sent threatening messages saying he would stab her, beat her up in front of her parents, take her somewhere no one could find her, keep her there for weeks, and get a ransom for her. He also called her abusive names including 'tramp', 'little wh***', 'smelly little b****', and 'scum on his shoe'. The victim stated she felt terrified to go outside, relived the experience, and cried thinking about it. Williams has 12 previous convictions for 17 offences.
Pleaded guilty. Ordered to complete 15 rehabilitation requirement days, attend Building Better Relationships course, 240 hours unpaid work, and pay £128 victim surcharge. Restraining order imposed for two years.

Ioana Rob, 31, originally from eastern Europe, moved from Monton to Farnworth due to financial struggles during the pandemic. She was furloughed and fearful of losing her home. Under peer influence, she travelled to Manchester on three or four occasions to pick up cannabis from a dealer and bagged it up at her Highfield Road home in Farnworth, taking 10 to 12 hours for £100 each time. On September 23, 2020, police raided her home and seized a substantial quantity of the class B drug. She admitted involvement during the raid and interview.
Of previous good character. Pleaded guilty. Financial difficulties due to being furloughed during pandemic. Performed task under peer influence and intimidation. Now in full-time employment.

Jack Pearson, 24, of no fixed address, engaged in domestic violence against his then-partner following arguments over milk for their newborn baby and missing money in January 2021. He threw a heavy mug at her, causing her to believe her arm was broken; threw eggs and a mobile phone at her; threatened to kill her with his bare hands if she prevented him from seeing their daughter; and later threatened to kill her and her family by banging on their door and sending a threatening message to her father. He also destroyed his child's cot.
Pleaded guilty to assault by beating, sending public communication that was offensive or indecent, and two counts of criminal damage. No previous convictions. First offence. Adverse childhood experience and excessive use of alcohol and cocaine. Judge noted serious offences and victim was frightened.

On February 21, 2021, during lockdown, Shek Farsi Ahmed Shah, owner of Hot Chilli restaurant in Bolton, allowed a wedding party with approximately 65 people including children to take place inside the venue. The windows were covered with paper to obstruct the view, and the event included sit-down meals, decorations, wedding cake, and formal attire. Police discovered the breach after a report, finding 50 guests upstairs and more downstairs, with 10 staff on duty. Shah claimed it was within rules for 30 wedding guests but was informed it breached restrictions on sit-down meals.
Ordered to pay prosecution costs of £324, plus a £34 victim surcharge. Admitted breaching Covid legislation but claimed he did not organise the event and was unaware until the night before. Business licence previously revoked by Bolton Council.

When confronted, he abused the complainant and turned the music louder. He claimed the complaints were exaggerated, mentioned turning up music on Bonfire Night for his pets, and attributed his behaviour to drinking up to 16 cans of alcohol daily due to a bereavement, though he has since reduced it.

Jordan Johnson, 27, was involved in two separate violent incidents while following Bolton Wanderers. The first was a brawl at a pub in Wigan in December 2018 after a game, where he was part of a group attacking rival supporters but not a major participant. The second occurred in August 2019 after a Tranmere vs Bolton game, involving striking a male in a car park at the Preston public house in Tranmere, causing injury, and later hitting another man at a nearby Tesco.

Kieran Farnworth, 22, of Kilbride Avenue, Bolton, was the owner of a red VW Golf carrying seven passengers that crashed into a garden fence, knocked over wheelie bins, and hit other vehicles on a residential street in Bolton on March 31, 2016. The car was driving in excess of the 20mph speed limit, causing more than £25,000 worth of damage. All seven men fled the scene. Farnworth claimed he had no recollection due to a head injury from the collision.
Admitted the offence. Given a 10 week curfew. Disqualified from driving for 15 months and will have to take an extended test.

Rachel Moden, 25, left more than 60 bags of stinking rubbish to rot in the backyard of her rented property in Moorfield Grove, Tonge, for months, attracting flies and emitting a strong smell. She ignored repeated requests from Bolton Council starting in June 2016, official notices, and failed to remove it by August 2016 when the council cleared it themselves. Prosecuted following neighbour complaints.
Found guilty in absence of failing to comply with an abatement notice. Also ordered to pay court costs of £266, a £44 surcharge, and £514.22 clean-up costs.

David Lowe allowed his Lurcher-type dog, Fly, to become severely emaciated, weighing 8kg (less than half her proper body weight), suffering from starvation over months, heart murmur, diabetes, and dental disease. The dog was put in his care by his ex-partner two weeks before RSPCA was tipped off. Vet with 30 years experience described her as the most emaciated dog he had ever seen, dead or alive, and she had to be euthanised. Lowe hoped the dog would die naturally and did not follow through on ex-partner's request to put her down.
Mental health problems considered; spent five weeks in psychiatric ward during proceedings. Pleaded not guilty but convicted. Left court under abuse from animal rights protestors.
