Joshua Prior was caught on camera repeatedly kicking and slapping his French Bulldog, Ronnie, during a ten-minute incident on August 25 of the previous year. The footage showed him entering a lift with the dog, leaning down over it, kicking it hard enough to lift its back end off the ground, and slapping it. A subsequent vet examination indicated the dog suffered unnecessary pain and psychological abuse, with evidence suggesting this may not have been an isolated event.

Adam Wilcott managed a waste transfer station at Trevol Business Park, Torpoint, Cornwall, on behalf of Highgate Services Ltd. The site operated under an environmental permit for non-hazardous waste but deteriorated: unsorted waste overflowed, contaminated run-off occurred, waste stored outside permitted areas, and the site flooded. Despite Environment Agency warnings, inspections, and three enforcement notices (two ignored), operations continued illegally until ceasing in November 2018 with waste abandoned on site.

Vitor Da Silva illegally dumped waste without an environmental permit in a field in Daccombe near Newton Abbot between January 2019 and August 2020. The waste included vehicles, furniture, white goods and gas bottles.
