Ionut Constantin Diaconu, 36, was stopped at Dover’s Eastern Docks on 12 July 2021 as a passenger in a lorry driven by Constantin Neascu, which was searched by Border Force. Three converted Ekol model Gediz self-loading gas pistols marked as Glock were found hidden in a wine box inside a rucksack on the driver's bunk. Officers also found two Albanian men hiding in the trailer attempting to enter the UK illegally, and 21,550 cigarettes in the cab.
Pleaded guilty to the firearms offence. Received an additional 4 month sentence for revenue evasion on the cigarettes.

Fraudulent evasion of a prohibition by bringing a controlled drug into the UK *

On the evening of 11 February 2023, Irnti Rapai broke off from the group to act as lookout near the shore at Sheerness port while Salih Saruhan and Sean Bourke attempted to access a refrigerated shipping container from Costa Rica containing 10 kilos of cocaine. Arrested by NCA officers in a nearby supermarket car park.

On Thursday 10 June 2021, officers stopped a VW Golf in Common View, Rusthall, driven by Ivelina Mladenova. A deodorant bottle in the driver’s door pocket contained 14 wraps of cocaine, seized along with a mobile phone and £40 cash. A search of an address in Hadlow recovered a further 30 cocaine deals and £570. The street value of the cocaine was estimated at £1,760.
Pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possession of criminal property. Cash seized to be forfeited.
James Jackson

On 4 April 2022, James Jackson, from Sevenoaks, suddenly attacked a man he knew who was visiting his home address, stabbing him five times in the chest, shoulder and arms with a knife. The victim initially thought he was being punched, fled the address, and was treated in hospital. Jackson was arrested soon after. The sentence also covered an earlier incident on 2 June 2021 where Jackson assaulted a taxi driver taking him from Tunbridge Wells to his home, stole cash, and damaged the taxi.
Pleaded guilty to wounding, robbery and criminal damage. The jail term included sentences for robbery and criminal damage committed on 2 June 2021. Detective Constable described Jackson as a very violent man capable of causing sudden and extreme harm.

Jamie Little, 21, from Maidstone, was arrested at around 12.45pm on 3 February 2021 while travelling on an electric scooter in Maidstone High Street by proactive officers from the County Line and Gang Team. Suspected of drug supply, officers seized a mobile phone. A search of his home recovered £1,700 cash, weighing scales, a knife and another phone. One phone was used to send bulk marketing texts offering cocaine and heroin for sale.
Pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and being concerned in the supply of heroin.
Jamie Turner

On 21 June 2021 at around 3am, Jamie Turner was a passenger in a silver BMW X5 driven by Clint Londors to Grain High Street with Bradley Pearce. After Londors rammed the Co-op entrance, Turner entered the shop with Pearce stealing cigarettes, alcohol, razor blades and football cards. They stole items worth approximately £1,500 over four minutes. Turner was found hiding in woodland with stolen items on him.
39-year-old, of no fixed address. Was on probation at the time of the incident. Pleaded guilty to burglary.
Jamie Gillett
Breaching sexual harm prevention order *

Jamie Gillett, a registered sex offender from Gillingham, failed to attend a police station to sign his annual sex offender notification on 13 May 2022. Officers went to his home on 26 May 2022 and arrested him. A search found a fully charged mobile phone hidden behind a wardrobe and a games console with internet access, which he used under three different aliases. These were breaches of his sexual harm prevention order.
Pleaded guilty to four counts of failing to comply with notification requirements and four counts of completing actions prohibited by a SHPO. Previously convicted in 2018 of sexual offences involving children. Sentencing included two counts from 2021.

On 8 June 2022, Tyler Booth and Jasmine Wilson targeted a rural property in Sutton Valence near Maidstone, forcing their way into a utility room at a house in Chartway Street while the occupant was away. They stole a chainsaw, lawn mower, hedge trimmer from a shed and a quantity of fuel. Identified from CCTV footage near the scene by Kent Crime Squad. Arrested on 4 July 2022 and charged with burglary.

Jason Barnes, of King Street, Maidstone, approached the victim from behind on 30 November 2020 at the end of an alleyway leading from Lynley Close. He pointed a knife towards the victim's chest and demanded he hand over his possessions. The victim refused and ran away. Barnes pursued him holding a knife in each hand. Police were called; after dropping the knives, the 47-year-old was located nearby and arrested. During a search he was abusive to officers and attempted to headbutt one of them.
Pleaded guilty to attempted robbery, two counts of possessing a knife in a public place and assault of an emergency worker. Repeat offender.

On Wednesday 22 July 2020, Jack Supple drove a van erratically on the coastbound carriageway of the M20 near Aylesford junction for Blue Bell Hill, coming to a halt against a barrier on the hard shoulder. He admitted taking ketamine. Police search of the vehicle found perforated cardboard sheets of LSD deals on the sun visor and inside a sports bag on the back seat, plus ketamine in the front passenger footwell. Search of his home address recovered more LSD deals and around £2,000 cash hidden inside a bottle.
Pleaded guilty to possession of class A drugs with intent to supply, possession of class B drugs and acquiring criminal property. Officers seized 12,342 LSD deals with an estimated street value of almost £21,000, ketamine and £2,000 cash.
Jack Tester

Jack Tester, 29, of Havengore Avenue, Gravesend, subjected two victims to repeated racial harassment and abuse over five months between August and December 2021. Incidents included hurling a brick through a window of a property, leaving an improvised petrol bomb on a car with a note threatening to ‘blow every one of you out’, throwing paint over a car, and sending racist messages threatening stabbing or acid attack. Arrested on 20 December 2021 after CCTV and forensic evidence including his fingerprint on the note.
Pleaded guilty to racially aggravated harassment and two counts of criminal damage. Made subject of a 10-year restraining order. Sentence uplifted by six months due to racial elements.
Jacob Winnett
Conspiracy to commit burglary *

Between 21 October 2019 and 10 February 2020, Jacob Winnett, from Rochester, broke into 10 homes, attempted to burgle six more and broke into one business premise in Gillingham, Higham, Gravesend, Shorne and Rochester, mostly during daylight hours. He used motorbikes with a second unidentified person. Stolen items included Rolex watches, a KTM GT motorbike, Porsche Cayman GT4, Jaguar XF, safe, cash, jewellery, designer handbags, watches and an Audi RS5. Identified via CCTV, arrested after search warrant on 29 November 2019 at his address where incriminating items were found. Committed further burglary on 3 December 2019. Second warrant in Gillingham yielded more evidence including phone videos.
Admitted a charge of conspiracy to commit burglary covering all offences. Continued to offend after initial arrest on 29 November 2019.
Jack Davis
Possession with intent to supply cocaine *

Jack Davis, 29, from Wadhurst, was a passenger in a car stopped by police on 29 September 2018 in London Road, Tunbridge Wells, following reports of suspicious activity. Officers found 30 deal bags of cocaine in a rear footwell, £146 cash and a small amount of cannabis. Forensic tests confirmed his DNA on 10 bags, ruling out other passengers. His phone contained messages to customers and evidence of exchanges, proving he orchestrated a supply network.
Pleaded guilty. Repeat offender undeterred by previous punishments and prison sentences.
James Coffield
Grievous Bodily Harm with Intent *

James Coffield from Gillingham saw the victim walking along Upbury Way in Chatham when he accused him of owing money for a car. The two men argued before Coffield stabbed the man three times in his shoulder, arm and chest using a screwdriver. The incident occurred at around 8am on 13 October 2018. Coffield fled the scene, leaving his former friend of more than 20 years requiring medical assistance. He was arrested on 20 October 2018 and charged with Grievous Bodily Harm with Intent.
Handed a restraining order to prevent contact with the victim and ordered to pay court costs.
Jake Simms

At 11.40pm on 23 June 2023, Jake Simms travelled to the Co-op in Pound Road, East Peckham with an accomplice. They forced their way into the premises and stole two cash boxes before fleeing the scene in a Toyota Prius. Witnesses reported the incident, patrols identified and pursued the vehicle through south-east London with Metropolitan Police. The car collided with a police vehicle and Simms was detained in the driver’s seat. A bag containing a long screwdriver, gloves and a hammer discarded during the pursuit was recovered by a police dog handler. Simms, from Southwark, Greater London, was charged with burglary, dangerous driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.
Pleaded guilty. This included the activation of a suspended sentence. Disqualified from driving for two years on release and required to take an extended driving test.
Jake Crawley
Inciting a child to engage in sexual activity *

Between November and December 2022, Jake Crawley contacted a 15-year-old child on social media, sending obscene messages and inappropriate gifts including money and a bottle of alcohol, despite knowing the recipient was underage. Kent Police searched his home on 4 January 2023, seizing a mobile phone with photos, videos and chat logs of the victim, plus packaging for the gifts.
Pleaded guilty to all charges. Subject to a 10-year sexual harm prevention order. Added to the sex offender’s register for life.
Jack O’Reilly

At around 8.20pm on 2 June 2020, Allen Mulcahy and Jack O’Reilly approached a man in his 50s sitting in Brenchley Gardens, Maidstone. After chatting for twenty minutes, they walked together towards the River Medway through the town centre. On reaching the grounds of All Saints Church near Mill Street, O’Reilly grabbed the victim by the throat and threw him to the ground, fracturing his femur. Mulcahy then took the victim’s watch after threatening him. O’Reilly, of Loose Road, Maidstone, was arrested on 22 June.
Pleaded guilty.
Ken Clark
Rape *

20 years' imprisonment with 1 year extended licence
Ken Clark, formerly of Chapman Avenue, Maidstone, preyed on children as young as three over a three-year campaign of rape and other sex offences. He silenced victims with a 'pinky promise' and possessed indecent images. Victims suffered nightmares, panic attacks, suicidal thoughts and long-term psychological damage; one was particularly vulnerable due to a medical condition. The attacks ended when a victim spoke out; Clark denied the offences but was convicted by jury.
Found guilty of 18 child sex offences, including rape, and possessing indecent images. Judge ruled he still poses a danger to children.
Kenado Boja Boja
Possessing cocaine with intent to supply *

In February 2024, local officers stopped a Ford Fiesta driven by Kenado Boja Boja in Calverley Street, Tunbridge Wells, suspecting it was involved in drug trafficking. He was found to be in possession of a significant amount of cocaine, including deals hidden in a vape and a safe at his temporary address in Tunbridge Wells. He attempted to deceive police by providing a false name and claiming to be Greek.
Pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine with intent to supply and possession of an identity document with intent. Ordered to forfeit the seized drugs, cash, and vehicle.
Kenneth Clark

20 years imprisonment
Kenneth Clark targeted victims as young as three years old during repeated and systematic offending between 2016 and 2019. He made ‘pinky promises’ with at least two children to keep the abuse secret. Arrested in January 2019 after one victim confided in a relative. The judge noted the abuse had taken away the victims' childhoods, caused nightmares, depression, impacted education, friendships and physical contact, and damaged family relationships.
Convicted after trial of 18 counts including rape, attempted rape, assault by penetration, causing or enticing a child to engage in sexual activity and making indecent images of children. Additional licence period of one year. Subject to indefinite sexual harm prevention order and sex offenders register.
Kenneth Roberts
Possession of an offensive weapon *

At 4am on 3 July 2021, a young man in his late teens was in Lower Stone Street, Maidstone, when he was approached by Paul Ojo, Quinton Nelson and Kenneth Roberts. Roberts threatened the victim with a security stand. His fingerprints were found on the stand.

Kesshai Clarke
Possessing class A drugs with intent to supply *

Kesshai Clarke, 21, of Hillcrest Road, Bromley, would transport crack cocaine and heroin from London to Ashford for the 'Tony' county line network. Officers obtained text messages offering heroin and cocaine to drug users in Ashford between July and September 2021, leading to a warrant at a property in Bromley on 13 October 2021. Clarke was found climbing out of a window and a search uncovered around £11,000 worth of cocaine and heroin, numerous phones and sim cards and electronic scales. He was charged with possessing the drugs with intent to supply.
Sentence included a term for similar offences committed in Winchester.
Kevin Lusted
Rape *

21 years imprisonment
Between 2016 and 2022, Kevin Lusted, from Sittingbourne, raped and sexually abused a vulnerable young victim on multiple occasions, subjecting them to repeated threats including that they would be tied up and shot. He was arrested in March 2023 following a Kent Police investigation that uncovered the evidence. Convicted by a jury on 15 March 2023.
Pleaded not guilty to 11 counts of rape and seven other sexual offences; convicted on all counts following trial. Subject to a sexual harm prevention order for life. Described as a dangerous, calculating and callous sexual predator.
Kathryn Trevor
Wilful misconduct while holding public office *

20 months’ imprisonment, suspended for two years
While employed as a prison officer at HMP Maidstone, Trevor engaged in a sexual relationship with a prisoner, which resulted in her having a child with him. She used an alias to maintain contact with the prisoner while not on duty and was sharing information with his family abroad. Trevor was also aware that the prisoner was in possession of an illegal mobile phone and contacted him on it, rather than reporting it to prison security. The offences took place between 21 February 2020 and 25 September 2021.
Pleaded guilty to two counts. 29-year-old from Tunbridge Wells. Investigation by South East Regional Prison Intelligence Team (SERPIT).
Kayleigh Halliday
Murder *

Life imprisonment with a minimum term of 21 years and three months
Shane Myles and Kayleigh Halliday murdered 66-year-old Paul Wakefield in his Folkestone home on Sunday 2 January 2022. They severely beat the victim and stabbed him with a broken bottle. Mr Wakefield was found with serious injuries at 8.50pm and died the following day in hospital. Myles had the victim's bank card on him and traces of the victim's blood were found on both suspects' shoes. CCTV and the discarded phone helped track their route.
Admitted murder part-way through the trial. Formerly of Crown Road, Sittingbourne. Aged 36.
Kayode Badejo
Wounding with intent *

11 years imprisonment with an extended licence period of 3 years
Kayode Badejo, formerly of Hancock Road, Crystal Palace, London, took part in a violent street disturbance in Maidstone on 25 August 2019 which led to the murder of Andre Bent. During the fighting, he used a knife to stab an associate of Vasilios Ofogeli in the back.
Pleaded guilty to wounding with intent. Categorised as a dangerous offender and required to serve at least two thirds of the sentence before parole eligibility. Concurrent sentences for firearms offences and aggravated vehicle taking.
Keir Jackson
Burglary *

Between 2 and 5 August 2020, Keir Jackson went to a commercial premises in Abbey Fields and broke in by forcing open some doors. Whilst there, he stole a quantity of tools valued at around £12,000. The owners discovered the burglary and alerted the police. Crime Scene Investigators attended and recovered Jackson’s fingerprint from a barrel he had moved at the property. Jackson was arrested on 17 September and later charged with the burglary.
Pleaded guilty. Aged 39, of Lower Road, Faversham.
Keith Cranley

Keith Cranley, 42, of Shipwrights Avenue, Chatham, provided transport for violent house raid in Coxheath near Maidstone two days before Christmas. Five masked intruders including machete and crowbar attacked brothers Dean and Ben Sharp, who fought back. Baby and partner present. Stole 2-3kg cannabis and Tissot watch.
Convicted of aggravated burglary after trial. Provided transport.
Kejvi Leba

Involved in production of cannabis as part of a large-scale operation with farms in Ashford, Canvey Island and Hertfordshire between August 2019 and August 2020. Completed building work at Hertfordshire warehouse cannabis factory. Found there with 236 plants (potential yield £297,000).

Kane Dugbo drove a Mercedes near the Princes Road interchange at around 3am on 26 September 2023. Police needed him to stop as the vehicle had been of interest previously. He drove off at twice the speed limit, reaching 80 miles per hour, travelled onto the wrong side of the road, narrowly avoiding other motorists, collided with roadside barriers, and stopped in an overgrown field near Watling Street. He fled on foot but was identified via DNA on the airbag.
Pleaded guilty to dangerous driving. From Strood. Also disqualified from driving for 21 months and required to pass an extended driving test.
Kane Mcleod

On the evening of 10 April 2021, proactive patrols spotted a suspicious Audi A7 on the M25 near the Darenth Interchange. Officers followed the vehicle onto the M20 coastbound, where Kane McLeod accelerated to speeds of 135mph before initially stopping. He then rammed a second patrol car and fled. Following another high-speed pursuit, the Audi was stopped at the top of the M20 Junction 5 slip road near Aylesford. McLeod fled on foot with a black bag into bushes, where he was arrested. Officers recovered a loaded handgun from the bag and a small quantity of cannabis from the vehicle.
Pleaded guilty to all charges. Disqualified from driving for seven years and ten months. 32-year-old from Derby.
Kasey Knowles
Coercive and controlling behaviour *

Kasey Knowles targeted his vulnerable victim between January 2021 and February 2022, with repeated assaults which included punching and kicking her, relentless verbal abuse, and threats to kill. She had kept photographs of her injuries. He was arrested on 21 February 2022, when the victim called 999 having suffered verbal abuse from Knowles throughout the day, which left her in fear of being assaulted again. When patrols arrived at her address, Knowles fled into the back garden where he was detained, despite a struggle with officers to evade capture.
Pleaded guilty. This included five months’ imprisonment for the activation of a suspended sentence.
Joshua Bragg
Conspiracy to commit burglary *

Joshua Bragg was part of a criminal gang that broke into seven addresses in Dartford and Gravesend between 1 April and 17 May 2023. The gang forced open front doors in the middle of the night, stealing car keys for high-value BMWs and Mercedes parked outside, along with jewellery, phones and computer tablets. The burglars travelled from Essex to commit the offences.

Joshua Hamilton

Joshua Hamilton, of Rankine Road, Tunbridge Wells, subjected a former partner to a series of violent assaults and sustained mental abuse during 2020 and 2021. The abuse included repeatedly beating the victim by punching, kicking and treading on her feet, pulling her hair, striking her with a belt, grabbing her violently around the throat, forcing her to stand in the corner facing a wall, controlling and monitoring her movements, and making repeated threats to kill or harm her. He was arrested in April 2020.
Pleaded guilty to two counts of assault, sending threatening messages, criminal damage, and failing to comply with bail conditions. Made subject of a ten-year restraining order.
Justin Burnett
Murder *

Life imprisonment with minimum term of 19 years
Justin Burnett and Claire Lunn killed Piotr Lacheta, who was living in a tent in Cowgate Cemetery and in a relationship with Lunn. Shouting was heard the night before on 30 September 2019, with witnesses recognising Burnett's voice. Burnett later said he had stamped 'all over' the victim. Lacheta suffered fatal injuries to his head, chest and neck and was dragged around sixty feet from Lunn's tent. His body was found by a dog walker on the morning of 1 October 2019. Both offenders were found at the scene with blood on their clothing and arrested that day.
Convicted of murder after trial at Maidstone Crown Court. Denied murder but witness and forensic evidence proved involvement. No responsibility taken or motive explained.
Justin Duyile
Being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine *

Justin Duyile, 19, from Greenhithe, acted as middleman for the 'MJ' county line drug network in Medway, receiving instructions from Simeon Koroma and passing them to runners Curtis Davies and Natalie Riley. On 21 July 2022, officers found him at Natalie Riley's address in Gillingham with drug paraphernalia, cash, mobile phones, drug 'tick' lists, weighing scales and clingfilm after stopping Davies nearby.
Admitted charges of being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine. Acted as middleman for the 'MJ' county line drug network.

On 25 July 2023, plain clothes constables patrolling Harmony Street, Rusthall, near Tunbridge Wells, spotted Justin Kola sitting alone in a Nissan parked in a remote area away from homes, shops or dog walking routes. Officers approached on foot; he appeared nervous and claimed to be waiting for his girlfriend but could not recall where she lived. A search seized 23 wraps of cocaine with an estimated street value of £2,000, a mobile phone and around £65 in cash.

Kai Austen, from Tunbridge Wells, was wanted for drugs supply offences after his DNA was matched to packages of cannabis and cocaine seized in Tunbridge Wells. Initially arrested on 14 September 2021 with a phone showing evidence of his criminal network. On 8 December 2021 in Hastings Road, Flimwell, Sussex, he drove a Range Rover at police officers to evade capture, ramming a police vehicle, damaging two others, and almost colliding with a member of the public who had to run to safety.
Pleaded guilty to two counts of being concerned in the supply of drugs (cocaine and cannabis), four charges of possession with intent to supply drugs, dangerous driving, three counts of assault on emergency workers, three counts of criminal damage, and possessing a knife in a public place.
Kai Haruna
Causing grievous bodily harm with intent *

Charlie Saunter, William O’Brien, and Kai Haruna subjected their victim to a prolonged and barbaric assault lasting over six hours in a Gravesend flat on London Road on the evening of 5 July 2020. The victim was repeatedly cut with knives, burned with boiling salt water and a home-made flame thrower, subjected to dog bites and genital mutilation. Haruna jumped on the victim’s chest until he passed out. The attack was linked to a grievance involving money and/or drug supply. The victim could not escape due to threats, duration, and the dog.
Pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Sentences also dealt with two separate cases involving thefts and acts of violence. Must serve at least two thirds before parole and subject to extended licence of four years on release.
John Gibbs

On 20 August 2022, John Gibbs went to the Hare and Hounds public house in Lower Boxley Road, Maidstone, with two friends. The victim, 47-year-old Kevin Loosley, played a game of pool with one of Gibbs’ friends, leading to an altercation. They went outside where Gibbs struck Mr Loosley on the jaw. He immediately fell unconscious, striking his head on the ground. Mr Loosley received first aid but died of his injuries in hospital on 24 August 2022. Gibbs left the scene and was arrested on 22 August 2022.

In August 2019, he assaulted her in a car in Wye, Ashford, throwing chips at her while driving, punching her face, and kicking her in front of a young child.
Pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm and four counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Two further charges of assault and engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour ordered to lie on file. Subject to a restraining order upon release.

Pleaded guilty. Prolific criminal with multiple charges including three counts of burglary, three attempted burglaries, vehicle theft, handling stolen goods, shoplifting, criminal damage, and driving whilst disqualified.

Jonathan Oscroft, 36, from Nottingham, was involved in the illegal transfer of money obtained through criminal activities such as drug dealing. He drove a Porsche to pick up Omerfaraz Rahman on 17 September 2018 in Nottingham. A forensic link connected him to the carrier bag seized. He was arrested on 8 January 2019 at his home, where £212,674 cash, a cash counting machine, mobile phone evidence linking to illegal drug supply, and the Porsche (suspected proceeds of crime) were found.

On New Year’s Eve in 2022, Joe Smith, from Dover, went to a hotel in Forstal Road, Maidstone, in an intoxicated state and met his victim who was already known to him. The pair left the premises on foot as Smith wanted to buy some alcohol from a nearby shop and he became increasingly abusive towards the woman. Returning to a room at the hotel, Smith became aggressive again, punched her face with considerable force and made threats when she sought to leave. The victim managed to get to the reception area where staff called the police and Smith was arrested. As a result of the assault, the victim required 15 stitches in her lip and jaw.
Convicted of causing grievous bodily harm with intent following a trial on 23 June 2023. On release, subject to a further two years on licence and an eight-year restraining order.

Godfrey put his arm around one woman's neck and dragged her to the floor. Forensic evidence from the vehicle identified him. Godfrey, 30, from Romford, Greater London.

They smashed windows to enter two houses near Maidstone Road, Borough Green and Field Mill Road, Egerton near Ashford, stealing expensive watches, rings, tablets, cameras and bank cards. The gang also targeted a third house in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, stealing more items. Total value stolen exceeded £37,000. They were stopped by Surrey police near Hammersmith, arrested, and stolen property recovered from the vehicle.
