Alfie Apps drove a Seat Ibiza on Eversfield Place, St Leonards, on October 31, last year, while disqualified from driving.

Donna Jones drove a vehicle on Sunningdale Drive, St Leonards, on May 5, while disqualified from driving.

Pascal Selmour was in possession of a quantity of cannabis and a quantity of cocaine at Hastings on April 3.

Jamie-Rae Mete pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Combo van on Blackman Avenue, St Leonards, on September 24 the previous year while over the drink-drive limit. He gave a urine alcohol reading of 134 milligrammes. He also pleaded guilty to driving with no licence or insurance on the same date.

Jordan Armstrong pleaded guilty to being in possession of a quantity of cocaine at Elphinstone Road, Hastings, on January 25.

Robert Lowe pleaded guilty to being in possession of a knife in a public place at Hastings on May 15 and stealing food items worth £100 from a Co-op store in St Leonards on August 7 the previous year. He was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison.

Michelle Brooks was found guilty of using a motor vehicle with no licence or insurance. The verdict was proved in her absence.

Sarah Adams reversed her car into a house in Hastings on Thursday 9 April, causing significant structural damage. Police attended and she was taken into custody, where a breath test showed 148 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, more than four times the legal limit of 35. She pleaded guilty to drink driving.

On 29 November 2023 at about 8.30am, Stuart Hutchinson turned his Nissan Qashqai abruptly across the path of a motorcyclist on the A259 at Hooe, near Bexhill, while trying to avoid queuing traffic. The motorcyclist had no time to react and sustained life-changing injuries including broken legs, broken arms, broken shoulder blades, spinal injuries, multiple dislocations, damage to an Achilles tendon and broken bones in his hands. Hutchinson admitted causing serious injury by careless driving.

On April 4 at 5:24pm, Louise Willard was driving a white Vauxhall Corsa in Bexhill. A member of the public reported her clipping kerbs on the A259 Marsh Road, and another report stated she crashed into a parked Audi A4 on Turkey Road before driving off. Police stopped her shortly after. She failed a roadside breath test, blowing 94mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, almost three times the legal limit. Her own dash cam captured her swerving and clipping kerbs for miles.

On 30 March 2024, Mark Bailey was found asleep at the wheel of his car with the engine running in the car park of Goldsmith Leisure Centre, Crowborough. He failed a roadside breath test and was arrested. He later tested positive for 88 microgrammes of alcohol per 100ml of breath, over twice the legal limit of 35.

Owner of Little Shop in Bohemia Road, St Leonards, caught with £6,000 worth of illegal tobacco and cigarettes during three Trading Standards visits in November 2020, January 2021 and June 2021. Products had counterfeit packaging, sometimes without health warnings. He repeatedly failed to attend court, and Hastings Magistrates Court found him guilty in his absence. An appeal earlier reduced the original 26-week sentence to 16 weeks. The court also ordered destruction of the seized items, and he must pay a £154 victim surcharge and £2,887.50 prosecution costs.
