Reece Moult was involved in a drunken street brawl outside a nightclub in Torquay on May 3, 2025. He mistakenly stabbed a peacemaker in the shoulder with a 6 to 8-inch knife, causing a deep 4cm wound, and also attacked a doorman who was trying to intervene. CCTV footage showed him holding the knife and engaging in 'ape-like' aggression, remaining at the scene until police arrived. The victim suffered severe psychological trauma and is now afraid to go into town.
Pleaded guilty to the charges. Has a history of violence including previous convictions for GBH, ABH, and affray. Was extremely drunk at the time and expressed remorse and shame.
