A later confrontation in Saturday Market resulted in Tinson repeatedly applying force to Mr. Phillips' head, causing life-threatening injuries. Mr. Phillips was found unconscious with a serious head injury and died shortly after in hospital. Tinson and Mr. Phillips knew each other through a mutual acquaintance.
