Jerry Johnson, 27, of Aspley Road, Bedford, was in a vehicle that began tailgating a white SEAT Leon driven by the victim along the Stanground bypass, Peterborough, at about 12.30am on Sunday, 9 January 2022. The victim had a flat tyre and was driving slowly. The vehicle flashed its lights, prompting her to pull into a lay-by. Johnson reached through the open window, opened the door, pulled her out, and assaulted her. The victim ran off, and the car was later driven to Inhams Road in Whittlesey about an hour after the robbery and to Nursery Road in Boston, Lincolnshire, the following day. The car was found at a dealership, traced back to Whittlesey 12 hours after the theft, and advertised for sale on Facebook under a false name. Johnson was identified through bank account details, phone records, and an identification parade.
Found guilty of robbery by a jury at an earlier hearing. Was already in prison for a series of burglaries in Lincolnshire at the time of arrest.

Jason Lenk, 52, of Balland Fields, Willingham, was involved in a significant drug dealing operation with his son, buying large quantities of cocaine and selling it in smaller amounts to street dealers. On December 10, 2021, following an investigation by the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit, a warrant was executed at his address where officers found a holdall containing approximately 17 kilogrammes of cocaine and a cardboard box containing a further five kilogrammes of cocaine. The total drugs seized had a street value of between £2.3million and £2.9million.
Pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

On December 10, 2021, he was stopped by police in Royston, Hertfordshire, where officers found approximately seven kilogrammes of cocaine in a cardboard box on the back seat of his car. The total drugs seized from the operation had a street value of between £2.3million and £2.9million.

Fabio Serrano, while serving a life sentence for manslaughter at HMP Whitemoor, attacked a prison officer on October 30, 2021, after claiming his food had been contaminated. He approached the officer with a wire wrapped around his right hand and punched the officer in the chin, causing serious injuries that required hospital treatment.
Pleaded guilty to actual bodily harm. Also found guilty of two counts of unauthorised possession in prison of an offensive weapon. DC Emma Purser noted that Serrano is an incredibly dangerous criminal with previous assaults on prison officers.

On August 7, 2020, at the Mad Hatters campsite in Queen Adelaide near Ely, Ryan Harrowing punched his father several times to the head and chest following an argument. He then put two of his children into his Volkswagen Golf and drove recklessly between tents and on grass footpaths like a rally driver. He swerved to avoid hitting a mother who stood in front of a tent to protect her sleeping children, knocking off her flipflop. Police detained him nearby. Two of his own children were in the car at the time.
Pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. History of mental health issues and no recollection of the incident but pleaded guilty due to remorse.

Sarah Walker, ex-partner of Scott Walker and mother of Bernadette, was involved in covering up the murder of her 17-year-old daughter Bernadette after she disclosed sexual abuse by Scott on 16 July 2020. Bernadette was sent to stay with Scott's parents on 17 July, and after the murder on 18 July, Sarah received a call from Scott and helped concoct a story. She waited until 21 July to report Bernadette missing and sent messages from her phone to simulate she was alive.
Convicted of perverting the course of justice by covering up the girl's death, including sending messages from her phone to pretend she was alive and delaying reporting her missing until 21 July.

Ernest Drevenak, 46, of Howard Avenue, Bedford, began exploiting 16 victims from the Czech Republic in 2015 by trafficking them to the UK under false promises of work and accommodation. The victims, who were homeless, unemployed, or in low-paid jobs, were forced to work up to 70-100 hours a week at a McDonald’s in Caxton, Cambridgeshire, and a factory in Hertfordshire and London supplying supermarkets. Drevenak controlled their wages, paying them only £40-120 every two weeks while keeping the rest, estimated at least £200,000 over four years. He confiscated passports, used violence and fear to control them, provided overcrowded and substandard accommodation, and fraudulently claimed tax credits in their names. The exploitation continued until police were tipped off in 2019.
Found guilty following a trial on six counts of holding a person in slavery or servitude, five counts of arranging or facilitating travel of another person with a view to exploitation, and fraud by false representation.

Veronika Bubencikova, 46, of Upper Cambourne, along with Ernest Drevenak, began exploiting 16 victims from the Czech Republic in 2015 by trafficking them to the UK under false promises of work and accommodation. The victims were forced to work excessive hours at a McDonald’s in Caxton, Cambridgeshire, and a factory supplying supermarkets, with wages paid into accounts controlled by the couple. They received minimal cash payments while the couple retained the majority, stealing at least £200,000. The couple provided poor living conditions, including overcrowded homes and a leaking shed, confiscated passports, monitored victims via CCTV, and committed benefit fraud by falsely claiming tax credits. The operation ended in 2019 after a police tip-off.
Found guilty following a trial on six counts of holding a person in slavery or servitude, five counts of arranging or facilitating travel of another person with a view to exploitation, and fraud by false representation.

David Richens, of Townleye Avenue, Accrington, approached a woman loading items into her Audi A3 on Midland Road, Peterborough, on September 9, 2018. He pushed her to the ground, climbed into the driving seat, and drove off at 10.20am. At 10.36am, he drove the stolen car through a road closure onto the A1 carriageway, smashing through plastic barriers. Road workers warned others and blocked his path with vehicles, stopping him just before reaching 50 workers half a mile away. He claimed the car was his and said 'I’m MI5’s best agent'.
Found guilty after standing trial. Detective Constable Tom Adams commented that Richens had no consideration for anyone else when he drove a stolen car recklessly.
