Pleaded guilty. Also ordered not to drink alcohol for 70 days, placed under supervision for 15 months, up to 20 rehabilitation activity days, pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £114.

On 17 November 2024, Edmund Haddock was stopped by police in Gloucester Road, Cheltenham after driving erratically. He was intoxicated, assaulted two officers by headbutting one and spitting at the other, and refused to provide a breath specimen. He had broken bones in his ankle during the incident.

Previous similar convictions including drink driving and assaulting a police officer. Showed remorse by writing apology letters. Also banned from driving for 4 years, ordered to complete 100 hours unpaid work, 10 probation days, pay £800 compensation to PC Gorton, £200 to PC Moreley-Blackwell, £300 prosecution costs and £154 surcharge.

Pleaded guilty to two thefts from Tesco and possession of cannabis. Ordered to pay £42 costs and £114 surcharge. Cannabis to be destroyed.
