Adams pinned his father to the kitchen table, grabbed him by the throat, stole his mother's ten pre-filled syringes of Cloxane medication, and left. Upon returning, he resisted arrest, requiring six police officers, and bit one officer in the chest. No injuries were reported, and the incidents occurred while he was on conditional discharge.
Pleaded guilty to charges of threatening someone with an offensive weapon, resisting a police officer, theft, assaulting an emergency worker, and committing an offence whilst on conditional discharge. When their daughter Emily arrived unexpectedly, she was seized, dragged by her hair, threatened with shooting in front of her mother, and told they would burn her with an iron. Ms Aitchison failed to open the safe. The robbers fled with approximately £200,000 worth of luxury watches, designer handbags, jewellery, and cash. They left DNA at the scene, and police traced the getaway car, recovering vapes used inside.
Pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery, possession of an imitation firearm, and fraud. Ordered to serve alongside life sentence with four extra years on licence upon release.

He attempted to overtake the vehicle in front, misjudging the speed and distance of an approaching motorcycle ridden by Adrian Saunders. This caused a collision, leading Saunders' motorcycle to clip the verge and crash into a tree at approximately 60mph, resulting in his immediate death. Banke stopped at the scene and performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
Denied the charge but was found guilty. Described as a decent man with a blameless life and good driving record; remorseful since the crash, and his partner relies on him. Judge stated that appropriate punishment could be achieved by suspending the sentence.

She was arrested and later pleaded guilty to three counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and one count of possession with intent to supply class B drugs. The court determined that the total benefit from her offending was £53,309.90, with £9,537.66 available for repayment.

Asa Davison attacked his girlfriend, who was seven months pregnant, on multiple occasions. On May 29, 2020, in Gillingham, he followed her to a block of flats and assaulted her, causing swelling to her forehead, bruising to her upper arms, a fracture to her eye socket, fractures to her nasal bone, and bruising to her abdomen in the shape of a fist, which resulted in the death of her unborn child. He had previously shown resentment towards her pregnancy and continued to assault her in September 2020. He also perverted the course of justice by encouraging her to make a false statement from prison. Davison had a history of violence towards previous partners, including kicking one in the stomach while pregnant and breaking the eye sockets of two ex-partners.
Pleaded not guilty during trial. Judge described him as violent and manipulative, posing a danger to the public, and rejected his claim of being peaceful and kind. He represented himself at sentencing.

Between January 2017 and September 2018, the companies generated £8 million in turnover by pressuring vulnerable customers into immediate fittings, waiving their 14-day cooling-off period, and making unsubstantiated claims. This resulted in 28 identified victims, some of whom faced difficulties selling their properties afterward.
Found guilty of two counts of fraudulent trading after a five-week trial. Detective Inspector Jamie Halford described him as operating corrupt and fraudulent businesses that encouraged staff to lie and bully vulnerable customers.

John Keevil, a 52-year-old man from New Road, Landford, was sentenced after pleading guilty to 22 counts of sexual offences against four children. The offences occurred in Salisbury, Wiltshire, between 1997 and 2010, against boys aged between nine and 17 at the time. The victims, now adult men living in Hampshire, came forward years later, enabling Hampshire Constabulary, with assistance from Wiltshire Police, to bring Keevil to justice. Keevil appeared at Bournemouth Crown Court on Monday, April 25, 2016 and formally entered his guilty pleas. The judge imposed the 14-year custodial sentence, reflecting the severity and duration of the crimes.

John Pattison, a long-serving paramedic and Scout volunteer from Mallow Close, Highcliffe, Christchurch, Dorset, posed as his 'widowed wife' online in chatrooms to find a young girl to abuse while on leave after injury. He engaged with an undercover police officer posing as the father of a girl, discussed abusing children, and arranged to meet at Sainsbury's. Arrested on arrival, his laptop and phone were seized containing indecent images of children. He claimed images were sent by others and he tried to report them.
Admitted nine counts of possessing indecent photographs of a child and one of possessing an extreme pornographic image. No previous offences. Expressed remorse. Judge noted addiction to chatrooms and out-of-character behaviour supported by references. Also subject to a sexual harm prevention order and five-year notification requirements.

A loaded handgun was found in a holdall in the vehicle. He was tracked on CCTV, arrested in Norfolk on 31 January 2023, and had previously been arrested in December 2021 in Poole where crack cocaine, heroin and drug-related messages were found.
Pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life, possessing a prohibited firearm, possessing ammunition without a firearm certificate, two counts of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of class A and two counts of possessing a controlled drug of class A with intent. Jonathon Anthony James, a 34-year-old man from Poole, was sentenced to 14 months in prison after police discovered indecent images and films of children on his devices. The investigation began in August 2014 when Dorset Police's Paedophile Online Investigation Team was alerted to his online activities. Officers raided his home, seizing computers and electronic equipment. Forensic examination revealed category A movies depicting severe child abuse and other indecent material. James pleaded guilty to eight offences: making and possessing indecent images and movies of children, and possession of extreme pornography involving bestiality. Jack Anthony Rowland, 24, of Dorchester, committed two violent incidents against the same victim in West Dorset. On 11 November 2022 at his home in Dorchester he strangled and raped her. Between 17 and 18 February 2023 he raped her again after damaging her car windscreen in Weymouth. He was arrested on 19 February 2023.
Also made subject of a 10-year restraining order. Convicted of non-fatal strangulation, criminal damage, assault and two counts of rape.

Joachim Casey, a 48-year-old former acting head teacher at Wareham Middle School, sexually abused two young boys over several years, starting when one victim was nine. The offences came to light after a victim recorded a confrontation at the school. Casey admitted the abuse during police questioning and pleaded guilty. The abuse did not occur on school premises but was facilitated by his position of trust. He was arrested after the victims reported him.
Pleaded guilty to nine counts of indecent assault, two counts of indecency with a child, two counts of sexual activity with a child, and one count of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. Ian Buckingham

Ian Buckingham had more than 1,100 images of child abuse in the most serious category (1,146 category A still and moving images, 373 category B, 3,175 category C, and 95 extreme pornographic images depicting bestiality) on computers seized from his home in Roumelia Lane, Boscombe, Bournemouth, in December 2017. Images depicted very young children, including infants no older than 12 months being tortured.

In the early hours of 18 December 2022, Hassan Hayleh drove around Weymouth town centre three times before targeting a 19-year-old woman who had just left a nightclub and was sitting on a kerb awaiting her father. He approached her, helped her up, then placed his hands inside her trousers and underwear, sexually assaulting her. He then tried to drag her into his car, but she refused and shouted for help. Members of the public intervened and prevented further harm. Hayleh was found guilty of sexual assault following a trial in November 2023.
Found guilty after trial. Judge Robert Pawson described the offence as 'planned' and 'chilling', citing condoms found in the car as evidence of intent. Victim impact statement mentioned nightmares and fear. Hayleh also received a six-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order. Defence argued PTSD from prior torture in Syria, but judge dismissed human rights claims.

Gene Benjamin, previously of Belle Vue Road, Southbourne, Bournemouth, held his victims captive for days, strangled them into unconsciousness, repeatedly raped and beat them over a six-year period from January 2004 to February 2010. He preyed on women, mostly prostitutes aged 18-40, across 15 locations in Bournemouth. One victim was six months pregnant; another attacked with a claw hammer; others threatened with knives and an axe.
Convicted after an eight-week trial of seven counts of rape, one count of wounding and eight counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Judge Samuel Wiggs commented: 'You preyed on the prostitutes of Bournemouth. You were in their community and used intimidation and violence on them.'

On the evening of Monday 8 January 2018, a member of the public spotted suspicious behaviour at The Barbers on Seabourne Road, Boscombe. Two men were seen acting suspiciously. The witness alerted the shop owner, who confronted one of the men caught stuffing stolen items into a bag. A struggle ensued, and the thief dropped a trainer and gloves before escaping in a car driven by an accomplice. Police traced the car to a Bournemouth address on Windham Road and arrested Fabian McNerney as he left. Two bags of stolen goods from the shop were found in the hallway, and the missing trainer, matching McNerney’s foot size, was discovered in the vehicle.
Pleaded guilty to breaking into a business. Had four other similar offences taken into consideration. Detective Constable Ben Swain described him as a prolific burglar targeting businesses for greed.

On March 9, 2023, at around 11:15am, Matthew Benjamin Wood entered Christchurch Jewellers in Saxon Square and viewed two watches valued at £995 and £12,995. He returned at 12:30pm, grabbed both watches and attempted to leave. A staff member blocked the door, leading to a 20-second struggle during which Wood pushed the staff member against the door to escape. Fingerprints from the scene matched Wood, leading to his arrest in West Yorkshire.
Pleaded guilty to robbery. Judge praised the bravery of the staff member who stopped him. Prior fingerprints matched the scene.

After viewing them in a private room, he left saying he wanted to speak with his girlfriend before buying. He returned around 12.30pm, grabbed both watches and tried to leave. An employee shut the door to stop him; after about 20 seconds, he pushed her against the door and escaped. Fingerprints on the glass display led to his arrest in West Yorkshire.
Pleaded guilty to robbery. Judge praised bravery of jeweller staff member who tried to stop him.
Martin James Hunt

Martin James Hunt, of Fairey Crescent, Gillingham, was sentenced after police discovered over 650 indecent images of children on a concealed iPhone. He admitted to three offences of making indecent images of children and breaching a sexual harm prevention order imposed in February 2017 for a previous similar conviction. On 6 July 2018, Dorset Police searched his address following information that he was sending indecent images to a child in the United States. Officers found the hidden iPhone; Hunt confessed to using it for three years to communicate with underage girls and to send indecent images. Forensic examination revealed 82 still and 63 moving Category A images, 117 still and 27 moving Category B images, and 367 still and 15 moving Category C images.
Pleaded guilty to three offences of making indecent images of children and breaching a sexual harm prevention order. Had a prior conviction in February 2017 for similar offences. Used a hidden iPhone to communicate with underage girls and send indecent images, contravening the order.

At around 6.45am on Monday, July 3 2023, Matthew Alan Burke approached a woman (known to him, with a non-molestation order in place) walking in Sea Road, Boscombe, with a two-year-old child in a pushchair. He punched the woman, picked up the child and made off on a push bike. He was located at around 9.20am, initially trying to make off from officers with the child, but was stopped and arrested with the child unharmed. On Friday, August 18 2023, Burke approached the same victim while she was driving in Castle Lane East, tried to get into her vehicle, grabbed her phone and threw it across the road.
Pleaded guilty to kidnap, two counts of breaching a non-molestation order, assault and assault of an emergency worker. Also made subject to a restraining order.

Nigel Peter Grigg, 69, of Croft Road, Poole, communicated on Kik Messenger using the display name Randy Peter with an undercover officer posing as 'John', who claimed to have an 11-year-old daughter available for sexual activities. Grigg arranged to meet 'John' and the 'daughter' at McDonald's in Totton to commit child sex offences, purchasing presents including items from Ann Summers. He was arrested upon arrival. The offences occurred between March 4 and March 12, 2020.
Admitted a single charge. Deemed a dangerous offender by Judge Robert Pawson. No previous convictions. Showed remorse and sought help. Indefinite sexual harm prevention order and sex offenders register for life.

Noah Eckett-Graves engaged in explicit online conversations with an undercover police officer posing as the mother of two young children. Michael Kellard, of Dunkeswell, Devon, was found guilty of committing sexual offences involving two boys aged under 16 between 2000 and 2005. The incidents involved boys Kellard met through his job in go-karting and occurred in a number of locations across the country, including Dorset. The investigation began in June 2021 after one victim reported the abuse.
Found guilty after trial of three counts of rape, three counts of sexual activity with a child, four counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and five counts of indecent assault. Also placed on the sex offenders’ register for life and made subject to a sexual harm prevention order for 20 years.

On 3rd August 2023 at Ashley Manor Farm, Andrew Claridge-Fleming left four dogs, including one of his own, in his Land Rover Discovery around 10am. He returned at 4pm to find the vehicle closed and three dogs dead from heat exhaustion: Milo (six-month-old fox-red Labrador), Bodger (cocker spaniel), and Rocky (cockapoo). The fourth dog, his own cocker spaniel named Rocky, survived after veterinary treatment. Temperature reached 23C. He claimed a member of the public had maliciously closed the vehicle.
Admitted leaving four dogs in his vehicle. Judge noted shocking lack of care and that dogs were left to suffer for six hours. Family circumstances including five young children considered.

Angelo Regis, a 37-year-old carer from Bridport, Dorset, sexually assaulted a vulnerable woman in her 80s during a care visit on 3 June 2024. He locked the front door, followed her to the bathroom, sexually assaulted her, then attempted to rape her in the bedroom. The incident was reported two days later, and Regis was arrested after DNA evidence linked him to the crime. He pleaded guilty to the charges.

Alexandru Muresan, a 32-year-old Romanian national living in Bournemouth, was convicted of sexual assault and attempted rape. In the early hours of 29 January 2023, around 3.30am in Lansdowne, Bournemouth, a 26-year-old woman was walking home alone after falling out with a friend. She was tired, cold, and had been walking for about 45 minutes. Muresan approached her in his car, pretending to be a good Samaritan, and offered her a lift. She accepted. Outside her home, he sexually assaulted her and attempted to rape her. The victim repeatedly begged him to stop, crying and fearing for her life. She later had to stay with family and friends for three months and eventually moved house. Muresan denied the charges, claiming the woman made advances he rejected. A jury found him unanimously guilty.
Pleaded not guilty; found guilty by unanimous jury. Placed on sex offenders register for life, with a restraining order against the victim until further notice. Judge described him as having noticed the victim's vulnerability and playing the part of a good Samaritan.
Adam Matthew Weeks
Sexual assault of a child under 13 *

Adam Matthew Weeks, of Christchurch, Dorset, appeared at Bournemouth Crown Court on 17 February 2023. He had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to multiple child sexual offences including sexual assault of a child under 13, taking and making indecent images of children, and inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity. The offences involved abuse of a young child and online communication with a child in America. He was already subject to a suspended sentence and sexual harm prevention order from a previous conviction.
Pleaded guilty to two charges of sexual assault of a child under 13, four offences of taking indecent images of a child, six charges of making indecent photographs of a child and two counts of causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity. Had prior suspended sentence from Manchester Crown Court.
