Duncan was caught on CCTV leaving the scene and was identified as the suspect through fingerprint evidence and CCTV footage.
Pleaded guilty to charges of using a motor vehicle without insurance, driving whilst disqualified, and dwelling burglary. Detective Sergeant David Went of the neighbourhood crime team commented on the team's proactive response in pursuing criminality.

Admitted responsibility for the killing after becoming angry over the end of their relationship. Prosecutors argued his emotionally unstable personality disorder did not substantially impact his actions, and he was fully responsible.

On the night of October 28-29, 2023, at an address on Church Close, Bridport, Cade Adams, after drinking, engaged in a physical struggle with his father, Stephen, over entering his mother's bedroom. He grabbed a small knife and pointed it at his father, then armed himself with a larger knife, holding it above his head. His mother intervened to remove the knife. Adams pinned his father to the kitchen table, grabbed him by the throat, stole his mother's ten pre-filled syringes of Cloxane medication, and left. Upon returning, he resisted arrest, requiring six police officers, and bit one officer in the chest. No injuries were reported, and the incidents occurred while he was on conditional discharge.
Pleaded guilty to charges of threatening someone with an offensive weapon, resisting a police officer, theft, assaulting an emergency worker, and committing an offence whilst on conditional discharge. When their daughter Emily arrived unexpectedly, she was seized, dragged by her hair, threatened with shooting in front of her mother, and told they would burn her with an iron. Ms Aitchison failed to open the safe. The robbers fled with approximately £200,000 worth of luxury watches, designer handbags, jewellery, and cash. They left DNA at the scene, and police traced the getaway car, recovering vapes used inside.
Pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery, possession of an imitation firearm, and fraud. Ordered to serve alongside life sentence with four extra years on licence upon release.

This caused a collision, leading Saunders' motorcycle to clip the verge and crash into a tree at approximately 60mph, resulting in his immediate death. Banke stopped at the scene and performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
Denied the charge but was found guilty. Described as a decent man with a blameless life and good driving record; remorseful since the crash, and his partner relies on him. Judge stated that appropriate punishment could be achieved by suspending the sentence.

Asa Davison attacked his girlfriend, who was seven months pregnant, on multiple occasions. On May 29, 2020, in Gillingham, he followed her to a block of flats and assaulted her, causing swelling to her forehead, bruising to her upper arms, a fracture to her eye socket, fractures to her nasal bone, and bruising to her abdomen in the shape of a fist, which resulted in the death of her unborn child. He had previously shown resentment towards her pregnancy and continued to assault her in September 2020. He also perverted the course of justice by encouraging her to make a false statement from prison. Davison had a history of violence towards previous partners, including kicking one in the stomach while pregnant and breaking the eye sockets of two ex-partners.
Pleaded not guilty during trial. Judge described him as violent and manipulative, posing a danger to the public, and rejected his claim of being peaceful and kind. He represented himself at sentencing.

An employee shut the door to stop him; after about 20 seconds, he pushed her against the door and escaped. Fingerprints on the glass display led to his arrest in West Yorkshire.

The fourth dog, his own cocker spaniel named Rocky, survived after veterinary treatment. Temperature reached 23C. He claimed a member of the public had maliciously closed the vehicle.

On 26 March 2025, in Walditch near Bridport, Dorset, Christopher Wellman was working at his mother-in-law's house near a shared entranceway with neighbours Colin and Helen Prior, playing loud music and using an electric saw. Mr Prior, 76, complained about the noise, put his foot on the saw after Wellman ignored him. Wellman shouted an insult, took a long back swing with a 3x4 piece of wood and struck Mr Prior on the right side of the face and ear with both hands. This fractured Mr Prior's cheekbone and eye socket wall, split his ear, caused a laceration requiring hospital treatment, loosened a tooth, and additional shoulder injury from falling onto a gate. The incident stemmed from ongoing neighbour dispute over planning for a massage business.
Admitted inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent. Judge Recorder Tom Day described the attack as unprovoked, unjustified and appalling but suspended sentence as it was out of character, impulsive and supported by character references. Restraining order for five years preventing contact with victims or entry to Walditch.
