On April 2, police were called to reports of an aggressive man fighting outside The William Henry pub in Frederick Place, Weymouth. Adams, who was in breach of a curfew, tried to flee. During arrest, he kicked and struck an officer, attempted to spit, and verbally abused a teenager. While in custody, he assaulted four more officers by throwing a mattress and scratching an officer's arm. He had also stolen alcohol from Asda earlier that day.

On 23 October 2025, he stole £350 worth of products from the Bookends store in Christchurch. He was identified through CCTV footage, witness statements, and theft reports submitted via the NiCE Investigate digital platform by retailers. Evans was arrested on 2 December 2025.

He crashed into trees after failing to negotiate a bend. Passenger Laionie Kennard, 18, from Verwood, was pronounced dead at the scene. Pickett admitted causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.

The individuals involved were known to each other, and police confirmed no threat to the wider public.

PC Selina Swan attempted to arrest him for being drunk and disorderly, but he shoved her in the chest, swung his jacket hitting her on the head, pushed her again in the body, said 'f*** you', and ran away. He was later arrested and claimed he did not recognize her as a police officer due to not speaking English. He stated he was 10/10 drunk and does not usually drink.
Pleaded guilty to assaulting an emergency worker and being drunk and disorderly. Spared community service due to inability to speak English, requiring a translator which would raise health and safety issues. Ordered to pay £2 per month.

Meron Habtu, a 24-year-old asylum seeker from Eritrea, came to the UK illegally in 2020 and falsely claimed to be a child to be placed with a host family. In September 2021, he sexually assaulted a drunk woman after pestering females outside nightclubs. While on bail for that offence, on 11 September 2022, he cornered a 15-year-old girl as she left a train toilet, pinned her against the carriage wall, told her she was beautiful and said 'All my friends call me the tracker'. He touched her breast over her clothing three or four times while she tried to escape. Other passengers intervened and the girl fled to her seat in tears. The assault left her feeling unsafe on public transport ever since.
Pleaded not guilty but found guilty of sexual assault of a child. He was on crown court bail for another sexual assault at the time of the offence. The judge noted he showed no remorse and posed a high risk of serious harm to women and girls. He was also ordered to sign the sex offenders' register for ten years and made subject to a sexual harm prevention order for five years.
