He contacted a 12-year-old through social media using the alias Ziggy, engaged in sexualised conversations, sent inappropriate videos and pictures of himself, threatened to harm her if she did not share indecent images, and shared footage of him having sex with a 15-year-old girl. He also smoked drugs with one victim and forced himself upon her while filming the attack. All offences took place between July 2024 and September 2024.
Pleaded guilty to four offences of rape, two of taking indecent images of a child, two offences of sharing indecent images and engaging in sexual communication. Added to the sex offenders register for life.

During a violent onslaught following an argument over his mother's drinking, he punched, kicked her to the face, and struck her with a cabinet door, which shattered on impact, causing fatal head injuries. He then went to bed. The following day, he confided in a relative and handed himself in to police. Officers found Ms Page in her bedroom with serious injuries.
Admitted manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility. Has autism spectrum disorder, most likely Asperger syndrome, diagnosed after arrest. Judge noted loss of control following argument over mother's drinking.

Carl Chapman, aged 61, sexually abused a girl from when she was nine to 16 years old, with the offences dating back to the 1990s. He bribed her and threatened to kill her family. The victim, now an adult, reported the crimes, leading to an investigation by West Midlands Police. Chapman was arrested and found guilty of 19 counts related to the abuse.

He also committed a burglary in Kidderminster in June of the previous year. He was arrested at the end of January and later admitted to the offences.
Admitted to more than a dozen offences, including robbery, theft, and burglary. He threatened to stab shop workers during the crimes. Police stated he was prepared to put others in fear to take what he wanted.

Darren Pritchard
Owning dangerously out of control dogs *

Darren Pritchard's two American bulldogs escaped through a hole in the garden fence and mauled his 85-year-old neighbour, Lucille Downer, who had dementia, to death in her own garden on April 2, 2021. Pritchard was at work at the time, and the dogs attacked her, causing fatal injuries to her neck and leg. Neighbours and her daughter witnessed the attack and had to barricade themselves inside a house until Pritchard returned to intervene. Police searches of his home revealed cannabis with a street value of nearly £20,000, cannabis plants, and cash bundles totalling around £35,000. Neighbours had previously reported Pritchard mistreating the dogs.
Pleaded guilty to owning two dangerously out of control dogs, possessing cannabis with intent to supply, and producing the drug. Remorseful and accepted responsibility. Judge Michael Chambers KC noted the attack was foreseeable and that the dogs were ferocious.
