Megan Gendall, 31, from Vyvyan Street, Camborne, was caught drink driving twice within four days in February. On 9 February in Camborne, multiple calls reported suspected drink driver; blew 79 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml breath (over twice legal limit of 35), vodka bottle in footwell. On 12 February, sped off from police on A30 near Truro, drove through red light and junctions, crashed into safety barrier; blew 48 microgrammes/100ml breath. Also charged with failing to stop for police.
Mother of four. Pleaded her circumstances in a social media apology citing addiction. First offence on 9 February: 79 microgrammes/100ml breath (limit 35), vodka bottle found. Second on 12 February: 48 microgrammes/100ml breath, failed to stop for police, crashed into barrier.

The defendant sent picture of his penis to a 13-year-old child, while on bail and this took place for a five-day period therefore not a one-off event. Sex offenders' register for 7 years. Restrictions on accessing the internet.
