Tom Hill, 32, was racing his performance-enhanced Ford Fiesta ST at speeds up to 100mph on roads with a 50mph limit. He lost control of his vehicle on the B4228 near Sling in the Forest of Dean on 28 January 2022, colliding with a Mini driven by Terri-Ann Marshall, a 36-year-old mother-of-two, resulting in her immediate death.
Admitted causing death by dangerous driving. Was driving a performance-enhanced Ford Fiesta ST and lost control during the race.
Lennox Clarke

Lennox Clarke, a former professional boxer, supplied cocaine to Ben Goff, a drug dealer in Cheltenham. Between September and November 2023, there were 12 significant meetings where Clarke provided Goff with quantities of cocaine ranging from 28g to 1kg. Clarke also travelled to Cheltenham with two other men on 16 October 2023 to enforce debts related to the drug supply. After Goff's arrest in November 2023, Clarke fled to Thailand but returned to the UK in March 2024, where he was arrested at his home near Stourbridge. He has a prior conviction for supplying Class B drugs.
Pleaded guilty to supplying class A drugs. Had a previous conviction for supplying Class B drugs in 2012. Judge Ian Lawrie KC commented on the harm caused by Class A drugs and noted it was an opportunity for easy money. He will be eligible for release on licence after serving half the sentence and will receive 317 days credit for time spent on curfew.

Artur Mieszczak was driving a Volkswagen Passat with two friends when he collided with a tree at Old Birdlip Hill in Witcombe on July 6, 2023, while under the influence of alcohol. One passenger, a man in his 50s from Swindon, died at the scene, and the other, a woman in her 20s from Swindon, sustained serious injuries and was treated at hospitals. Mieszczak's breath alcohol level was 63 micrograms per 100 millilitres, exceeding the legal limit of 35. He was also uninsured and unlicensed at the time.
Pleaded guilty to all charges. Disqualified from driving for seven years and must pay a £228 surcharge.

On 23 December 2023, Alex Evans was driving a single-seat quad bike with his 22-year-old partner, Grace Vater, sitting on the rear rack in a side-saddle position on Whitehouse Lane near Shipton Moyne. Grace fell off, sustaining a severe head injury, and died two days later on Christmas Day at Southmead Hospital in Bristol. Evans left the scene in panic, knowing he was disqualified from driving, and the quad bike was later found hidden. He was arrested and charged following an investigation by Gloucestershire Police's Serious Collision Investigation Team.
Pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst disqualified and uninsured. Judge described leaving the scene as a 'cowardly and shameful act'. Had prior disqualification for driving under the influence of cannabis.

His locker was moved to the first floor without a risk assessment, exposing him to a real risk. The company also failed to comply with an HSE inspector's request for contact details between May 26, 2015, and February 26, 2020.
Convicted of three health and safety offences and admitted a fourth charge. Appeal against convictions dismissed by Court of Appeal.

Brady Hickman, 33, staked out the home of a disabled woman in her 70s and watched through a window as she fell asleep on November 11, 2021. He entered her home through an open window in the early hours, stripped naked in the hallway, and raped her after threatening her not to make a noise. The victim awoke to see him in her bedroom doorway and was left suffering from PTSD, panic attacks, and flashbacks, leading her to move homes.
Pleaded guilty to rape and two charges of assault by penetration. Has previous convictions for burglary, assault, robbery, and sexual assault. Judge Michael Cullum deemed him dangerous and a threat to women.
