Police were alerted in June 2024 after concerns at a Camden nursery where children were filmed without knowledge. Following his arrest on 11 June 2024, 69 devices were seized, revealing substantial evidence of contact offending and indecent material. On 29 August 2020, he arrived at the arranged location and was arrested by Metropolitan Police officers. Charged on 30 May 2025 with attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and attempting to meet a girl under 16 following grooming, he failed to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court and evaded capture until 19 December 2025, when Live Facial Recognition technology identified him on Kingsland High Street. He pleaded guilty at Thames Magistrates’ Court on 20 December 2025.

The first victim was assaulted on more than 10 occasions over 10 months in 2016, and the second victim was assaulted on two separate occasions in 2014. The investigation was reopened after new reports, leading to his arrest and charging.
Placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life and received a five-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order. Found guilty of seven counts of sexual assault, including sexual touching, following a two-week trial.

On February 12, 2023, at about 1am, Kirk Holdrick and an accomplice, both masked with balaclavas and gloves, smashed a side door to enter a luxury mansion in London where Anya Taylor-Joy and her husband Malcolm McRae were staying. They scaled a wall, triggering a security light, and forced their way inside. McRae confronted them, retreated to the bedroom, barricaded the door, and armed himself with a lamp. The intruders attempted to prise open the bedroom door with a crowbar. McRae shouted that he had a gun, scaring them off. They fled empty-handed, leaving DNA on the back door and shoe prints outside the bedroom. The couple was traumatised and feared further targeting. Holdrick was arrested on April 18, 2023, initially denied involvement claiming prior party attendance, but later pleaded guilty in mid-December 2024.

Police arrested him and found an 11cm knife. The victim suffered severe psychological trauma, panic attacks, feeling unsafe, and planned to relocate. Greenaway was convicted of kidnapping, sexual assault, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and possession of a bladed weapon.

On March 17, he punched a woman in the face after grabbing her £1,000 iPhone X on Wallis Road in Hackney. On March 19, he punched a man in the chest before taking his phone on Pitfield Street in Hackney. He failed to snatch a £750 iPhone from a woman in Islington. Cadogan was caught after Islington council CCTV alerted police to him riding a black Honda moped without a helmet; he gave a false name but was identified via mobile fingerprint device. Police searched his home and found matching clothing.

Akol Garang, 18, of Lausanne Road, Haringey, plotted the murder after falling out with Omer Raza over a £1,600 unpaid car insurance debt. On 15 February 2017, in broad daylight in Ivatts Way near Turnpike Lane tube station, Wood Green, north London, Garang lured Raza to the location pretending to be a customer named 'Stacey'. Armed with a kitchen knife, Garang ambushed and stabbed 23-year-old Omer Raza in the chest while he sat in his silver BMW convertible. Raza was chased by Garang and collapsed in Downhills Park Road, where he bled to death. Garang boasted beforehand about intending to 'buck the insurance guy'. During trial, he claimed the stabbing was accidental.

After she bent down to remove her shoes, he struck her multiple times on the head with a hammer, causing serious wounds. He then forced her to undress and raped her twice. A relative of the homeowner arrived, heard the victim crying, and called police. Bruce brandished a hammer and shouted at them before fleeing. Officers arrested him nearby and found the victim's mobile phone on him.
Pleaded guilty to two counts of rape, actual bodily harm, false imprisonment, and theft at Wood Green Crown Court.

Paul Farrell, 55, of Castle Road, Camden, London, was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 18 years at Wood Green Crown Court on 24 May 2021. He pleaded guilty to 77 sexual offences against eight victims, including indecent assault, sexual assault of a child, causing a child to engage in sexual activity, attempted rape, and possession of indecent images. The abuse spanned 35 years from 1985 to 2020, with victims aged between 5 and 15. Farrell infiltrated families as a lodger or babysitter, gaining trust before abusing children, sometimes taking them to the hospital where he worked. The investigation began in November 2019 after a report of non-recent abuse. Farrell was arrested at the hospital, and indecent images of children were found on seized devices. Further analysis of his mobile phone led to the identification of six additional victims. His early guilty plea on 12 March 2021 meant victims did not have to give evidence at trial.
Pleaded guilty to 77 sexual offences including indecent assault, sexual assault of a child, and possession of indecent images. Offences committed against eight victims aged 5–15 between 1985 and 2020. Arrested at his workplace; indecent images found on devices. Guilty plea on 12 March 2021 spared victims from testifying.
Pascal Jombla

On 21 June 2022, Pascal Jombla dragged a vulnerable woman into his home in Hackney, then subjected her to a sustained and brutal attack in which he repeatedly punched, kicked and raped her. He threatened her if she did not keep quiet. The victim escaped the next morning and a passer-by called 999 after seeing her injuries. Officers found Jombla still asleep at his home and arrested him. The victim was hospitalised with facial injuries, extensive bruising, and a fracture to her lower back. DNA evidence, CCTV analysis and witness interviews were used to build the case. Jombla was charged on 24 June 2022 with six counts of rape and two counts of actual bodily harm. He was convicted after trial on 8 November 2022 and sentenced on 21 June 2023.

Kevin Lloyd Williams, aged 45 and from Hackney, appeared at Wood Green Crown Court on 20 February 2023 where a jury found him guilty of two counts of rape. The offences occurred on 1 May 2022 when the victim, a woman in her 40s, encountered Williams in a supermarket on Upper Clapton Road. They knew each other. Williams expressed romantic interest which she rejected. He followed her to an alleyway near Rossington Street, E5, blocked her exit, smoked a drug pipe, struck her across the face, and forced her to have sex. He then demanded money. The victim suggested going to an ATM and sought help from shop staff before contacting police. Detective Sergeant Else Dierick described Williams as a 'predatory offender'.

Marvin Ward and Alexis Morris agreed to meet Hussain Chaudhry on 17 March 2021 at his home in Lea Bridge Road, E17, to buy a designer jacket advertised on social media. They entered the address with two of Hussain’s friends. Ward and Morris then produced knives, threatened Hussain, held him and his friends at knifepoint, searched for more jackets, and attempted to rob the property. During the struggle after Hussain’s mother and brothers intervened, Hussain suffered a fatal stab wound to his neck, his mother a serious injury to her thumb, and his brother an injury to his hand. Ward fled the scene.
Found guilty after trial of manslaughter, robbery, and two counts of GBH. Sentences for all counts to run concurrently.
