Cundliffe prevented her from getting help by blocking the door and access to her phone, stating he wouldn't let her get help until she stabbed him, which she refused. The victim escaped by pushing him over when distracted and fleeing to neighbours. Police found Cundliffe stabbing himself in the chest before apprehending him. Prosecutors proved he intended for neither to leave the house alive.

The HGV fell on their vehicle, resulting in their deaths at the scene on October 20, 2023. Zeineddine admitted to impaired vision from mist and spray but continued at high speed.
Pled guilty to two counts of death by careless driving. The investigating officer noted that his speeding in poor conditions was reckless and led to the fatal incident.

After initially refusing to engage with the court process, he was remanded into custody.
Pleaded guilty in October. Will serve a further 2 years and 11 months on licence.

Between April 1 and April 21, 2023, Christopher McNeil stalked a woman on at least two occasions by attending her place of work, her home address, and repeatedly calling her, leaving her in fear that violence would be used against her. He intentionally strangled her on April 20, 2023.
A restraining order was made banning him from contacting the victim.

On June 15, 1980, Stefon Winter assaulted two young brothers in the changing rooms of Highbury Football Field in Warminster while they were playing football. He led them away and attacked them. The incident was reported, but no suspect was identified until a cold case review in 2016 using DNA evidence matched Winter's DNA to clothing from one of the brothers.
Sentenced in line with guidelines for offences from 1980; found guilty of two counts of indecency and two counts of gross indecency.

David Mears broke into a ground-floor flat in Penhill, near Swindon in August 1987, where he raped a 16-year-old girl who had just moved in. He grabbed her in the dark, blindfolded her, and committed the offences. He was identified through advances in DNA technology and had a history of similar crimes, including stealing underwear and other assaults.
Pleaded guilty. Had previous convictions for similar offences, including burglary and assault.

William Pollard, 58, filmed naked boys in swimming pool changing rooms at Oasis Leisure Centre and Milton Road Health Hydro in Swindon from 2003 to 2005. He was caught when a father spotted a lens poking out from under a towel in Pollard's bag while his eight-year-old son was drying off after showering, with his 13-year-old brother present. Police searched Pollard's home after arrest and found a large stash of pictures and movies of men and boys changing, plus downloaded child pornography from the internet.
Admitted charges of voyeurism and making seven indecent images of children. Given a sexual offences prevention order restricting contact with children under 16, banned from schools, leisure centres and children’s play areas, and ordered to register as a sex offender for seven years.

Sophie Elms, from Royal Wootton Bassett, committed sexual assault of a child by penetration, sexual assault of a child by touching, distributing indecent images of children, possession of indecent images of children, and possession of extreme pornographic images involving an animal. None of the crimes occurred at the nursery or college where Elms was studying childcare. The court was told the crimes shocked the local community.
Admitted to multiple serious child sex offences. Was 17 years old and studying childcare at the time. Subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

Simon Wheaton, from Bridgwater, committed multiple non-recent child sexual offences against a boy he controlled, including inciting a boy under 14 years of age to commit an act of gross indecency, indecent assault on a boy under the age of 14 years, indecently assaulting a boy under 14 on at least two further occasions, rape of a boy under 16 years, and rape of a boy under 16 years on at least two further occasions. The victim opened up to a counsellor years after the abuse.

Dennis Obasi
Conspiring to supply controlled drugs into prisons and importing cocaine *

Dennis Obasi, with Emily MacArthur, imported cocaine from Jamaica concealed in seasoning parcels addressed to flats in Frome and Bristol, street value over £130,000, discovered in January 2020. Produced and supplied spice to prisons via fake R39 legal letters, prisoner property boxes, and visitors posing as relatives between February 2019 and March 2020 across 11 prisons, starting when Obasi was at HMP Peterborough. Seized items included £50,000 spice powder, 116 spice-soaked sheets worth £48,000, and production materials. Continued offending post-release, found with cash, knife, heroin, and crack cocaine in April 2020; involved in supplying drugs via teenagers to vulnerable addresses later in 2020.
Co-conspirator and former partner of Emily MacArthur. Involved in the same drug supply operations.

Andrew Brown, of Calverley Close in Beckenham, operated a County Line drugs network supplying crack cocaine and heroin from London to Portsmouth between March and November 2021. He was arrested in London in November 2021 following a joint investigation launched in August 2021 by Hampshire Constabulary’s Eastern Proactive Investigation team and the Metropolitan Police Service.
Convicted of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin. Arrested as part of Operation Orochi, a joint investigation by Hampshire Constabulary and the Metropolitan Police.
Jordan Norman Trainor
Causing serious injury by dangerous driving *

Jordan Norman Trainor ploughed his KTM motorbike into an unmarked police car in Spring Close, Southampton, after making off from police and being chased. The officer inside suffered a fractured ankle.
