On May 28, 2025, he was spotted driving erratically in town, sped off from police, and was found inside the vehicle attempting to use a crack cocaine pipe. Tests showed 381mcg of benzoylecgonine per litre of blood, nearly eight times the legal limit of 50mcg.

Moussa chased, pushed or tripped Clarke, then stabbed him when vulnerable.

On Manchester Old Road, he assaulted Paul Yates, who was driving with his 11-year-old granddaughter, by punching and kicking him, dragging him from his car, and attempting to enter the vehicle before being detained by members of the public until police arrived.
Pleaded guilty at the earliest opportunity. Blames drink and cocaine use for offending. Expressed remorse. Will likely serve 40% of the term in custody. Judge commented on the dread caused to motorists and shameful lack of respect to war dead.

Mr Mackey, a frail man who used a stick, died in hospital two days later on 8 May 2025.

Seven months later, in February 2024, he and Paul Hayden attacked and stabbed Nathan Williams multiple times in Easton, nearly killing him.
Found guilty by jury after six-week trial. Described as very dangerous and posing significant risk to the public. Sentenced by Mr Justice Pepperall.

Additional guilty pleas were entered for three thefts and three breaches from July offences.

Romario Gordon was part of a group of males who forced their way into the home of 16-year-old Camron Smith on Bracken Avenue, Croydon, on 1 July 2021, where they killed him in a brutal frenzied attack with knives. The group was seeking revenge for the stabbing of one of their friends earlier that day in Pawson’s Road, Croydon. They entered three homes that night, kicking down the door to Camron’s home and chasing him into his mother’s bedroom where he was fatally stabbed. The group had previously stolen a minicab at knifepoint in Streatham. Gordon fled to The Gambia via Heathrow Airport on 3 July 2021 but was linked to the attack by DNA evidence.

Following intelligence in 2018 about the attempted realisation of criminal assets in London, investigators built a case leading to the recovery of over 61,000 Bitcoin from Qian – the largest confirmed crypto seizure in the world, currently worth around £5 billion. Civil recovery proceedings against the bitcoin are ongoing.

Dexter Reid failed to provide adequate veterinary treatment for his mastiff-type dog, Boss, after it suffered a broken front left leg (fractured radius) in a road traffic accident on St. George’s Road, Hull, on March 1, 2025. Despite advice from a veterinary nurse at the scene and multiple interventions by RSPCA officers offering help and transport, Reid delayed seeking treatment. He took the dog to a PDSA clinic on March 3, where pain medication was provided and X-rays scheduled for March 6, but he failed to attend and did not follow up. On March 13, Reid claimed the dog was limping for attention and could not afford the £300 X-ray costs, despite accepting a vet voucher. Boss was seized from Reid's home on March 26, 2025, after over three weeks of untreated injury, during which the dog experienced extreme pain, especially after medication ran out on March 13. Boss required kennel rest to recover and will be rehomed.
Pleaded guilty to one offence under the Animal Welfare Act 2006. Ordered to complete 10 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement (RAR) days, pay costs of £100 and a victim surcharge of £154. Magistrates noted deliberate and conscious refusal to seek assistance and treatment allowing the dog to suffer over a significant time. In mitigation, defendant was suffering from health issues.

Brandon Hodge, 28, kept 18 birds including nine types of owl, three American kestrels, and a red-footed falcon tethered inside minuscule cages at a house in Kilmacolm, Renfrewshire, in May 2024. The cages were piled on top of each other, covered in faecal matter and waste, with the surrounding area littered with rubbish, maggots, and insects. The birds were left without food or water, covered in dirt, food, feathers, and faeces. The enclosures were so cramped the birds couldn't extend their wings. A Harris Hawk had to be put down due to its poor condition; a Eurasian eagle owl had damaged feathers on its right wing; an American kestrel was missing a foot. Several birds had filthy anklets contaminated with faeces. The conditions were described as overpowering in smell and among the worst seen by inspectors, moving one vet to tears. Many birds were successfully rehoused at sites like Edinburgh Zoo and the Scottish Owl Centre.
Pleaded guilty to two charges of animal neglect. Procurator Fiscal commented on the shocking case and lack of regard for animal welfare.

Shaine March killed his 32-year-old pregnant partner, Alana Odysseos, in a brutal knife attack outside their home on Lynmouth Road, Walthamstow, on 22 July 2024. The attack followed an argument inside the property, during which March stabbed Alana multiple times. She emerged from the house holding her side, shouting 'Shaine stabbed me' before collapsing. A blood-stained knife was found near the front door, and Alana's two-year-old daughter was inside the home. March fled the scene but was arrested shortly after at a nearby café, covered in blood and admitting to the killing. CCTV and witness statements confirmed his responsibility. The murder was linked to escalating domestic abuse and controlling behaviour, exacerbated by Alana's recent pregnancy, which March was unhappy about.
Pleaded guilty to murder. The judge highlighted the domestic abuse and lack of remorse.

Evan Forde, 32, from Bedford, was driving a black Mercedes at speeds exceeding 140mph on a 40mph section of Hendon Way in Brent Cross, North London, around 3.45am on 25 December 2022, after leaving a nightclub in Camden. Police in a marked vehicle signalled for him to stop, but he sped off, dragging an officer along the road. Within a minute, he collided with a BMW, causing the death of passenger Maria Carolina Do Nascimento, aged 22, at the scene. Forde and others fled the vehicle. He gave 'no comment' interviews to police.
Pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving. Judge Philip Katz KC criticised lack of cooperation with police and failure to assist victim's family. Had 10 previous convictions for 14 offences, including dangerous driving, and was on bail at the time.

NRW officers found vast quantities of end-of-life tyres, including over 200 tyre bales, over 1,000 loose tyres, and an estimated 40 tonnes of shredded tyre waste, stored in unsafe conditions posing a significant fire risk.
