Adam Harrison, a convicted sex offender subject to the sex offender register and a Sexual Offences Prevention Order preventing contact with anyone under 16, met a vulnerable 12-year-old girl online. He knew her for five months via Snapchat, exploiting her chaotic and lonely life. She ran away from her emergency foster care in Somerset, and he picked her up in his car, taking her to an alleyway off Stuart Road, Stoke, Plymouth, where he raped her by forcing oral sex. This was not the first occasion; they had met previously, including a trip to Dartmoor. He was arrested in Taunton, where he was living instead of his registered address in Plymouth.
Pleaded guilty to two offences of raping a 12-year-old girl, breaching the terms of his Sexual Offences Prevention Order and two offences of failing to comply with the sex offender register. Judge Paul Cook described him as a dangerous offender and high risk to young girls. Prior conviction in 2012 for sexual activity with another 12-year-old girl.
Adrian Browers

In 2017, Adrian Browers groomed and sexually abused a nine-year-old girl on at least three occasions on Heavitree Road, Exeter, Devon. He hugged and touched her sexually and incited her to engage in sexual behaviour. Case initially dropped after 2018 arrest but reopened after he admitted offences to probation officer in 2020. Previously found with child abuse images and given community order.
Admitted to four sexual offences against a child. Branded high-risk paedophile. Judge noted appalling series of attacks on vulnerable nine-year-old girl, ongoing risk to young girls. Must serve at least two-thirds in prison before release consideration. Signed sex offender register. 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Zach Peploe
Engaging in sexual activity with a child *

Zach Peploe, aged 17, 18 and 19 at the time, targeted five girls aged 12 to 14 via Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. He sent naked sexualised videos of himself, groped a 14-year-old's breasts, begged a 12-year-old for naked pictures, had sex with victims aged 13 and 14 at his house or in his car, pressuring them despite their vulnerability. Victims suffered flashbacks, anxiety, self-harm and overdose attempts. He continued offending after release under investigation and contacted hundreds of girls monthly.
Pleaded guilty to nine offences against five victims. Showed little remorse, immature, from a difficult background with borderline personality disorder. Restraining orders not to contact victims, 10-year sexual offences behaviour order, sign sex offender register indefinitely.
Wayne Stanley Shortland

Wayne Stanley Shortland broke into the victim’s home in the St Johns Road area of Yeovil in April 2018 and stole a handbag containing cash and bank cards. He was identified as a suspect following a review of CCTV footage and enquiries made with local residents.
Aged 35, from Horsey Lane in Yeovil. Appeared at court where he admitted a charge of burglary and was sentenced for this and a previous offence for which he initially received a conditional discharge.

Concerned in the supply of Class A drugs *

Seven members of a county lines drug gang transported Class A drugs including heroin and crack cocaine from the West Midlands and sold them on the streets of Bridgwater. Activities disrupted by police after public reports of open drug sales. Officers identified transaction locations, stopped suspicious individuals, traced phone lines used to coordinate sales. Nine warrants executed at addresses in Bridgwater, Wolverhampton and London led to arrests of four men and three women, recovery of significant sums of Class A drugs, cash, weapons, ammunition and a stab vest.

Ubayd Jimale
Being concerned in the supply of heroin and cocaine *

Ubayd Jimale, of Watford Road in Wembley, was involved in transporting class A drugs including heroin and cocaine to Bridgwater from London between December 2020 and March 2021 as part of a county lines operation. He was arrested as part of a joint investigation between Avon & Somerset Police and the Metropolitan Police.
Pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of heroin and cocaine. Led the operation.
Valentinas Michailovas

Valentinas Michailovas, 24, of Marl Close in Yeovil, carried out two robberies against the same victim in Yeovil. On 15 August 2021, he led a male victim to a cash machine, forced him to withdraw money and took it. Two days later, he broke into the same victim’s home in the early hours, holding a knife, and forced him to withdraw more cash from an ATM. Over the night of 20/21 August 2021, a second victim in Yeovil reported his home broken into; Michailovas admitted handling stolen goods from this burglary.
Pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery, one count of handling stolen goods and one of fraudulently using someone else’s bank cards. Judge James Townsend noted previous convictions for similar offences in Lithuania. Given restraining orders to prevent contact with victims.
