Earl Justin White, 43, of Danehurst Street, SW6, carried out a crime spree across Hammersmith, Fulham, Kensington, and Chelsea between December 2018 and January 2019. He committed multiple burglaries, fraud, handled stolen passports and bank cards, possessed a kitchen knife, and assaulted two police officers. A vigilant resident spotted his suspicious behaviour on North End Road, Kensington, and alerted police. Officers found White in a communal area; he gave a false name, then shoved one officer and punched another, causing a split lip. He was restrained and a kitchen knife, stolen jewellery, and bank cards in his name were recovered. A subsequent search of his home uncovered further stolen goods linked to further burglaries. White pleaded guilty to all charges.
Pleaded guilty to all 14 offences, which included burglary, fraud, handling stolen passports and bank cards, possessing a weapon, and assaulting two police officers. Detective Constable Amit Tailor praised the alert resident who reported suspicious behaviour.
Denzil Rochester
Conspiracy to kidnap *

On 24 September 2018, the victim and his pregnant girlfriend returned to Woodchester Square when a masked gang from this organised crime group attacked. They attempted to abduct the woman, but she escaped. The victim was dragged into a van, punched, kicked, and later taken to a Fulham address where he was tied in a bath for 12 hours, had acid poured on him, and was further assaulted. The gang demanded a £6,000 ransom from his mother and his Rolex watch. After the watch was left as directed, another gang member collected it. The victim was eventually abandoned and taken to hospital.
Convicted after trial; denied charges.
Shariff Fussaini

Shariff Fussaini was part of a group that assaulted an off-duty police officer and stole his watch, chain, warrant card, bank cards, driving licence and Oyster card outside a bar in Rayners Lane, Harrow on 17 November 2019. The group attacked the victim, smashing a glass bottle on his arm, punching him repeatedly, and also assaulted bystanders including the victim's friend (broken nose and fractured jaw) and an unconscious man whose pockets were rifled.
Pleaded guilty to violent disorder. Found guilty of robbery by trial.
Simeon Osen
Arranging and facilitating child sex offences *

Simeon Osen, a 53-year-old former Stanmore businessman and respected member of the Jewish community, used Skype to direct the sexual abuse of children in the Philippines during 2012. He instructed girls as young as 10 years old to perform sexual acts on themselves in exchange for money sent via PayPal, with over £5,000 transferred. An investigation by the Metropolitan Police's Child Abuse, Exploitation and Sexual Abuse Command uncovered over 41,000 Skype messages, indecent images and extreme pornography on his devices. He was arrested and later pleaded guilty at Harrow Crown Court to 13 counts of arranging and facilitating child sex offences.
Pleaded guilty to 13 offences of arranging and facilitating child sex offences. Ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for life and given a Sexual Offences Prevention Order. Judge remarked: 'These children were for the most part pre-pubescent... real people, not objects for your sexual gratification.'
Suleyman Karayilan
Conspiracy to commit robbery *

Suleyman Karayilan was the armed member of a gang that committed eight robberies at bookmakers. He used a gas-powered BB gun disguised as a real handgun, entering shops while Smith acted as lookout and Wright drove. The gang stole over £2,000. CCTV captured him in every raid. He pleaded guilty.
Pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of imitation firearms with intent. Stormed into shops armed with a BB gun disguised as a real handgun.
Suresh Varsani
Attempting to cause a child to engage in sexual activity *

Suresh Varsani attempted to cause a child under 13 to engage in sexual acts between 21 August and 9 September, and communicated sexually with intent to make that child watch a sex act. He committed the same offences against a child aged 13 or older between 19 August and 31 August. He was caught after concerned members of the public went undercover online posing as a 12-year-old girl called 'Mollie Banner' and an older girl 'Amber Jones', to whom he sent explicit images and messages.
Pleaded guilty. Caught by members of the public posing as children online. Also given a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life.

Breaching landlord licensing rules *

Harsha Shah, her daughter Chandni Shah, and brother-in-law Sanjay Shah rented their four-bedroom property in Napier Road, Wembley, cramming 31 people into it over a five-year period. Tenants paid between £40 and £75 per week in cash and lived in filthy and dangerous conditions, sleeping in bunk beds that blocked all fire exits. The property was ruled an illegal HMO after a 2016 raid by a London Borough of Brent housing enforcement officer. They were found guilty of breaching landlord licensing rules in May 2017.
Sentenced with sister Harsha Shah and niece Chandni Shah. All defendants ordered to pay £82,367 in costs. Under Proceeds of Crime Act proceedings.

Sgt Michael Grigg, a serving Hertfordshire Police officer and cadet leader, committed two counts of penetrative sexual activity with a child, amounting to a gross abuse of his position of trust. Formerly of Hatfield, Hertfordshire (AL9 - AL10). Arrested as part of an IOPC-managed investigation by Hertfordshire Constabulary's Safeguarding Command.
Found guilty by jury on two counts of penetrative sexual activity with a child. Placed on the sex offenders register for life and subject to a sexual harm prevention order. Suspended from role and will face a misconduct hearing.
Kiyarn Francis-Williams

On 21 August 2018 at around 10 am, officers on patrol in a car along St Mary's Road, Harlesden, saw 18-year-old Kiyarn Francis-Williams with two known drug users. When approached, he refused to stop and walked away. In the ensuing scuffle, Francis-Williams handed two low-value mobile phones to a friend who fled, and placed his hands around an officer's throat to avoid a drugs search. He was arrested and charged the next day. He was convicted of actual bodily harm and obstructing a police drug search, and sentenced to nine months' imprisonment at Harrow Crown Court.

Martin Stokes
Causing serious injury by dangerous driving *

Martin Stokes deliberately rammed his van into a group of worshippers leaving the Al Hussaini Association Muslim community centre in Cricklewood just after midnight on 19 September 2018, after hurling racist abuse at them when asked to leave a nearby car park. Three people were injured, including one man in his 50s who suffered severe hip and leg injuries requiring hospitalisation for over three weeks.
Pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and a religiously aggravated offence.
Mehmet Greca
Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs *

Mehmet Greca, 32, from Friern Barnet, was found with 51 kilograms of high-purity cocaine worth £5 million in his flat. Officers forced entry on 13 December 2016 despite an iron grille and discovered the drugs, a cash-counting machine and over £80,000 in cash. He pleaded guilty at Harrow Crown Court.
Pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of criminal property. The court also ordered the forfeiture of £80,000 in cash.

At 6 am on 27 October 2018, police searched the Wembley Park home of 20-year-old Perry Allen-Thomas, a gang leader. Officers seized 40.32 grams of heroin, 22.9 grams of crack cocaine, 96.06 grams of cannabis, 0.8 grams of cocaine, alongside over £7,000 in cash, a Rolex watch, four mobile phones and his distinctive Buzz Lightyear necklace. One phone contained a video of Allen-Thomas preparing drugs for sale. He pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs and possession of criminal property, and was sentenced to 40 months' imprisonment at Harrow Crown Court on 17 January 2019.

On November 14, the victim attended a flat on Albert Road, Kilburn to collect a charging cable. He was ambushed by four men: Myron Forbes, Gael Mwanzo, Prince Kodua-Owusu, and Rakeem Blackford. Forbes brandished a knife and punched the victim, dragging him into a bedroom. The group stripped the victim, robbed him of his rucksack containing a phone, Bluetooth speaker, and bank cards, and subjected him to racial abuse. Over 45 minutes, they beat him, whipped him with a belt, charging cable, and broom handle, all while filming on their phones. Bleach was thrown into his eye, temporarily blinding him. The attackers then forced him to steal items from a nearby shop. The victim alerted a shopkeeper who called the police.
Arrested at his home the day after the attack.

Brandished a knife and punched the victim at the start of the attack. Evaded arrest initially but later surrendered to police. Additionally faces charges of witness intimidation.
Mohammed Muttaqabbir Miah
Causing death by dangerous driving *

On 29 September 2018 at around 12:40pm on Quex Road, NW6, Mohammed Muttaqabbir Miah mounted the pavement and struck 60-year-old Diah Hamed Al-Safar, who was buying groceries for a friend’s funeral. Al-Safar sustained critical injuries and later died in hospital. Miah fled the scene but was apprehended nearby. Initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, the investigation found the crash was not deliberate. He was charged in May 2019 and later convicted of causing death by dangerous driving, dangerous driving, and failing to stop after the collision.
Also banned from driving for four years. He had passed his driving test only two weeks before the incident and was driving over the 20mph limit. He fled the scene but was caught nearby.
