The abuse was discovered in 2024 when the victim’s mother found romantic messages on her phone, leading to a police report and his arrest.
Found guilty by a jury on 16 April. Additional year on licence, indefinite sex offenders’ register, and 25-year sexual harm prevention order.

He also raped another woman from the same group after manoeuvring her into his bedroom. Kolawole Oladetoun repeatedly exposed himself and performed sex acts in front of lone women on London trains between 2020 and 2021. Specific incidents include boarding a service to Kentish Town on October 18, 2020, and exposing himself; sitting opposite a woman on the Victoria Line on April 14, 2021, and masturbating; exposing himself on a train from Clapham Junction to Kew Gardens in May 2021; and groping a 19-year-old woman at Hounslow West Tube station on August 7, 2021, after which she punched him, took his photo, and helped police identify him.
Initially failed to appear at court. Victims demonstrated quick thinking by taking photos or videos, which aided the investigation and conviction.

Olsian Vogli, 31, from Birmingham, was involved in supplying cocaine. He was seen entering and leaving a flat on Caversham Road near Kentish Town, which was used as a stash house. A search of the apartment and a black rucksack he was carrying uncovered half a kilo of cocaine, more than £100,000 in cash, several mobile phones, and additional SIM cards. He was arrested alongside Orest Malushi while under surveillance in July of the previous year.
Pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine alongside partner-in-crime Orest Malushi. He used a flat on Caversham Road near Kentish Town as a stash house.

Orest Malushi, 44, was found with kilos of cocaine inside his car in Hendon, north London. Officers from the National Crime Agency and Scotland Yard arrested him while he was under surveillance in July of the previous year. A search revealed more than £100,000 in cash, several mobile phones, and over three kilos of cocaine hidden in a specially adapted hide in his car's glovebox and in a black rucksack he was carrying.

Abbas Alsaed

Abbas Alsaed met an 11-year-old girl in Fryent Country Park, Wembley in May 2021, where he falsely claimed to be a child protection officer. He befriended her, obtained her mobile phone number, and over the following year, raped and sexually assaulted her on numerous occasions in the park. Concerns were raised by a staff member at the victim’s school, prompting police involvement, but Alsaed fled the country. He was tracked by the Met’s Predatory Offender Unit to the Netherlands and arrested upon his return to the UK on August 15, 2022.
Pleaded guilty to eight counts of rape and sexual assault. Also ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register and is subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for life.

On September 16, he attacked a third woman near Neasden Underground Station and stole a pair of headphones.
Pleaded guilty on the first day of trial. A Sexual Harm Prevention Order was granted, preventing him from being within 50 metres of any underground, train station, or bus stop in London between 7pm and 7am.

Pleaded guilty to raping a female child under the age of 13, two counts of sexual assault, and two counts of encouraging a child to engage in sexual activity.

Dewal Dos Santos Silva, an unlicensed tattoo artist from High Road, Wembley, arranged for a woman in her mid-30s to visit his flat on October 30, 2020, for a tattoo. She became groggy and lost consciousness, and he raped her while she was unconscious. She woke up during the assault and left, after which he sent a text apologising for 'screwing up'. He was arrested on November 3, 2020, and forensic evidence confirmed his guilt. Police believe there may be more victims.
Found guilty of rape. A restraining order was issued prohibiting contact with the victim. He was found not guilty of administering a substance with intent. Detective Constable Ian Smith commented on how he exploited the victim's trust.

The 17-year-old arranged to meet 16-year-old Elvis Tacu at Philpot’s Farm Open Space close to Heather Lane in Yiewsley on 30 December 2021. The pair knew each other. The defendant pulled out a knife and inflicted fatal stab wounds, causing significant blood loss. Elvis was found unresponsive by a member of the public who provided first aid until police and paramedics arrived, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police tracked the killer using mobile phone records and CCTV enquiries that placed him with Elvis immediately prior to the murder.
Pleaded guilty to murder in June. Sentence adjusted by deducting 225 days spent on remand. No motive established.

In 2017, detectives discovered a shop in Wembley advertising and selling gold jewellery, including rings and bangles, containing hair from African elephants. No legal permits for importing or selling such items had been issued. On May 15, 2018, a search warrant was executed at the premises, where a large quantity of the jewellery was seized. Forensic tests by the Science & Advice for Scottish Agriculture laboratory confirmed the presence of African elephant DNA in the samples. The items were labelled as 'elephant hair' and were derived from endangered species.
Found guilty of seven counts of offering the sale of products containing specimens derived from endangered species. He was interviewed under caution after a search warrant was executed.

Esther Afrifa, 28, from Wembley, northwest London, bought a litre of sulphuric acid online and attacked her boyfriend, Kelvin Pogo, on December 22, 2019, by pouring it on his chest while he slept, due to her mistaken belief that he was having an affair. She carried out a second attack hours later, pouring more acid on his face and torso as he lay on the sofa, causing extensive burns and permanent injuries. Afrifa attempted to prevent him from seeking medical help by pretending to call emergency services, blocking his friends, and trying to make him drink acid disguised as water.
Pleaded not guilty but was convicted of two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Some cannabis was concealed inside boilers imported from Poland. The plot included one successful importation and one attempted one, along with money laundering involving a £98,000 debt and the use of Bitcoin. He was arrested in June during police raids.
Pleaded guilty to conspiracy to import cannabis and conspiracy to transfer criminal cash. Judge Rosa Dean commented on the waste of talent, noting his prior imprisonment for 18 months for possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

The offences were reported to the Metropolitan Police between 2017 and 2018.
